HomeAdvantage DC
HomeAdvantage DC
HomeAdvantage DC is DCHFA’s Mortgage Revenue Bond (MRB) homeownership program that provides eligible borrowers with below-market mortgage financing and optional down payment assistance.
The program offers three financing options: a standard first mortgage, a conventional loan with down payment assistance, and an FHA or VA loan with down payment assistance. All loans must comply with federal requirements under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) §143, including borrower eligibility, household income limits, and acquisition cost limits.
DCHFA approved lenders can access HomeAdvantage DC and handle the entire mortgage loan process in partnership with the DCHFA single family underwriting staff from application to settlement.
